KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 09, 2026: Trinity – The School of Learning, Salehnagar, Karimnagar, celebrated Bathukamma and Dussehra Utsav 2026 with great enthusiasm, cultural splendour, and festive spirit on Friday. Parents, teachers, and students participated wholeheartedly, making the occasion a vibrant celebration of Telangana’s rich cultural heritage and traditions.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Trinity Institutions Chairman Dasari Prashanth Reddy. The school organised a Fireless Dish-Making Competition for students’ mothers, which witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased their culinary creativity. The Director, Dr Dasari Mamatha Reddy, distributed first, second, and third prizes to the winners of both the Fireless Dish-Making Competition and the Best Bathukamma-Making Competition, appreciating their talent and dedication.
The festivities became more colourful with a wonderful Dandiya dance performance by specially trained parents, followed by an energetic traditional Bathukamma dance performed by parents, students, the Director, and the Principal. Their graceful movements and vibrant participation created an atmosphere of joy, unity, and cultural pride.
A major highlight was the traditional Ravana Dahan, performed by Chairman Dasari Prashanth Reddy, symbolising the victory of good over evil and reminding everyone of the importance of truth, righteousness, and moral values.
The celebration concluded with a traditional farewell to Bathukamma led by Director Dr Dasari Mamatha Reddy, Principal Ratnamala Behara, Coordinators Srikanth, Suma Priya, Admission Councellor Charanjeeth Kaur and the parents.
The Bathukamma and Dussehra Utsav 2026 was a memorable celebration that strengthened community bonds and promoted respect for Telangana’s vibrant traditions. Through such cultural programmes, Trinity – The School of Learning strives to instil cultural values in young minds and preserve this precious heritage for future generations.
