
JAGTIAL, OCTOBER 05, 2026: Out of 55 students, 27 students were provided appointment letters to join the job offers during the job mela conducted at Government Degree College for Women in Jagtial town on Monday.
The job Mela was successfully at the Government Degree College for Women under the joint auspices of the Telangana Skill Knowledge Centre (TSKC) – Placement Cell and SKSS Kartikeya Security Services. The event, aimed at providing employment opportunities to unemployed youth, which evoked an overwhelming response.
A total of 55 candidates attended interviews for various roles in reputed Hyderabad-based companies, including Foxconn, Premier Solar Limited, and Orient Electricals. Following a rigorous selection process, company representatives selected 27 meritorious candidates. The selected individuals are required to report for duty with immediate effect.
According to the organisers, the selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹19,288/-, along with an additional accommodation allowance of ₹2,000/- and an attendance allowance of ₹1,500/-.
On this occasion, the college management felicitated K.N.D. Murthy, General Manager of SKSS-Sri Kartikeya Security Services, for successfully conducting the job mela through the TSKC Placement Cell and creating employment opportunities for the youth.
The event was attended by the College In-charge Principal Prof. T. Pramod Kumar, Vice Principal G. Chandraiah, TSKC Coordinator G. Neeraja, TSKC Mentor G. Tirupati, along with faculty members Prof. V. Varaprasad, IQAC Coordinator N. Vasavi, Academic Coordinator G. Ramchandram, NSS Programme Officer D. Sujatha, Head of History Department S. Mallikarjun, Staff Secretary N. Sangeetha Rani, G. Srilatha, Jamuna, and other staff members.
