WARANGAL, SEPTEMBER 30, 2026: As many as 34 NCC cadets of Kakatiya University Women’s Engineering College excelled in various competitions at the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) organised by 8 (Girls) Battalion, Mamnoor, from September 20 to 29.
The cadets performed well in volleyball, tug of war, relay race and other events and won the Overall Trophy. Besides, 15 cadets completed the ‘Yuva Aapda Mitra’ training, while the cadets also displayed their talent in the Inter-Group Competition, informed College Principal Acharya K. Bikshalu.
KU Vice-Chancellor Acharya K. Pratap Reddy, Registrar Acharya V. Ramachandram, Caretakers Yashaswini and Veeraiah Naik congratulated the cadets, Camp Senior Under Officer Sai Teja, Camp Adjutant P. Riddhi, and Sergeant S. Swathi for their achievements.
