TIRUPATI, SEPTEMBER 30, 2026: A gold-plated Elephant Vahanam and Lion Vahanam were donated to Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram on Wednesday.
The donors, P.V. Lakshmi Reddy and P.V. Divya Priyanka of Hyderabad, handed over the Lion and Elephant Vahanams respectively to Temple Special Grade DyEO Varalakshmi at the Vahana Mandapam.
The two Vahanams, together worth around Rs.40 lakh, will be used during the annual Brahmotsavams of the temple.
Temple priests performed special pujas to the Vahanams with turmeric, kumkum and flowers, accompanied by Vedic chants. The donors were later provided darshan of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy and were presented with the Lord’s blessings and prasadam.
Temple AEO Gopinath, Superintendent Raj Kumar, priests and other temple staff participated in the programme.
