RAMAGUNDAM, SEPTEMBER 26, 2026: A massive tree plantation drive was organised by the NCC unit of the Sacred Heart High School in Godavarikhani on its premises on Saturday.
The programme was launched by Principal Sister Arogya Mary, Correspondent Sister Catherine and Sister Philo, along with NCC first officer PD Jyothsna. The cadets were enlightened about the importance of trees. They took an oath to plant more trees, which will help in keeping the environment clean.
Principal Arogya Mary emphasised the “importance of nurturing our planet and highlighted the critical role each individual plays in maintaining a green and healthy environment”. By participating in this hands-on activity, the NCC cadets not only contributed to the ecological well-being of their community, but also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of conserving natural resources.
