KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER, 25, 2026: The students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Nagunur, in Karimnagar town, organised a Freshers’ party to welcome the new batch on Friday.
The purpose of the Freshers Party was to make every new student feel connected as an integral part of the TGSWRDC family and be ready to take on the challenges of the year ahead. The freshers’ party is all about creating everlasting relationships with each other.
As a trend of the institute, the party began with the auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony and offering prayers to Goddess Saraswati. The occasion was graced by the presence of Principal T Malathi, who warmly welcomed the freshers. On this occasion, she encouraged and motivated the freshers to excel in every phase of life.
The cultural committee of the college organised the vibrant freshers’ party, which was led by G. Sandhya Rani, D. Mamatha, B. Deepti, and R. Maheshwari. Vice-Principal S. Padmaja and Superintendent T. Suresh Kumar also attended the programme and extended their best wishes to the freshers. Senior faculty members E. Venkateshwarlu, P. Shankaraiah, and K. Radhika, along with other staff members and students, actively participated in the celebrations.
The programme featured colourful cultural performances, including dance, music, and other entertaining activities presented by the students. The celebration created a joyful and welcoming atmosphere and provided an opportunity for the freshers to interact with seniors and faculty members. The programme concluded on a cheerful note, leaving the students with memorable experiences and enthusiasm for their new academic journey.
