SIDDIPET, SEPTEMBER 23, 2026: The Advaita Ashrama, a branch of Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math, in collaboration with the CCRT (Centre for Cultural Resources and Training) under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has launched the nationwide youth awareness initiative titled “Jago Yuva, Jago Bharat”.
The program will involve Government, Government-aided and recognised private schools, including schools under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) in 13 participating states and union territories.
The initiative is intended to provide school students with an engaging platform to understand and reflect upon India’s civilizational values, constitutional responsibilities, cultural heritage, ethical leadership and the spirit of nation-building.
So, let’s register our schools and students on the official website link portal provided by Jago Yuva Jago Bharat till 30th September 2026. The competition is held for students studying in classes 9-12 in the activities of Short videos/Reels, Drawing/ Painting, Essay Writing, Idea pitch for India (oratory) and Groups Kit/Role Play.
Conduct of school-level events and finalisation of the top three contestants by 15th November 2026.

For government schools, government- aided, KVS, NVS, and other schools within the Ministry of Culture sponsored track, there is no registration fee. The program is fully sponsored by the Ministry of Culture. For students at recognised private schools, a registration fee of Rs. 100 per student is applicable. The reading material is available in English and Hindi on “Vivekananda: His Call to the Nation” and “Short Life of Swami Vivekananda”. These books are shared free of cost with students upon completion of registration through the link.
Every student who participates will receive a joint participation e- certificate from Advaita Ashrama, CCRT and the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
District/state level shortlisting and felicitation is till December 2026.
Final felicitation of winners at the national level on 12th January 2027.
