KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 19, 2026: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has stopped his cavalcade to help three accident victims when the car in which they were travelling overturned after hitting the road divider in Siddipet district on Saturday evening.
Reports reaching here said that a car travelling from Siddipet to Gajwel hit a road divider and overturned several times. The occupants escaped a major accident as the car’s airbags opened. However, the daughter of the couple sustained serious injuries.
The father of the girl was driving the car, while her mother was sitting in the front seat and she as sitting in the back seat. The father and Mother of the girl escaped safely because the airbags opened. The daughter suffered serious injuries to her head and nose.
The accident occurred while the family was taking their daughter, who had appeared for an exam in Siddipet, back to Gajwel.
At the same time, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who was returning from Hyderabad and proceeding towards Sircilla. After noticing the accident, the Union Minister rushed to the accident site and, along with his security staff, helped rescue the victims from the car.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar immediately shifted them to the hospital in a police vehicle. The Union Minister asked the police to ensure that the victims receive proper medical treatment.
