RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, SEPTEMBER 19, 2026: The three-day “Commerce Academic Empowerment Workshop – 100 Days Initiative”, organised by Satavahana University, Karimnagar, at Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Shatrajupalli, Vemulawada, concluded successfully on Saturday.
As part of the third-day training programme, Mayuri Srivastava, Assistant Professor, University Arts and Science College, Kakatiya University, Warangal, delivered a session on “Income Tax Fundamentals & Tax Computation.” She explained the fundamental concepts of income tax and the process of tax computation, enabling students to gain a better understanding of the subject.
Following this, K. Tirupathi, Assistant Professor, Satavahana University, conducted a training session on “Income Tax Return Preparation, E-Filing & E-Verification.” He provided students with practical insights into the preparation of income tax returns, e-filing procedures and e-verification.
In the afternoon session, a hands-on session on Income Tax Return E-Filing & E-Verification was conducted, providing students with practical exposure to the e-filing process. The training enabled students to acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical understanding of various taxation-related procedures.
The concluding session included addresses by the resource persons, distribution of certificates to the participants and a vote of thanks.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal P. S. R. Sharma stated that academic empowerment programmes of this kind play an important role in equipping Commerce students with skills aligned with industry requirements. He said that the expert-led training sessions conducted over the three days had provided valuable knowledge and practical exposure to the students.
Vice Principal K. Lavanya, Head of the Department of Commerce, R. Umadevi, faculty member K. Sangeetha, other faculty members and students participated in the programme. The Principal appreciated the organisers for successfully conducting the three-day workshop.
