RAMAGUNDAM, AUGUST 30, 2026: Â NTPC Ramagundam celebrates National Sports Day with an energetic 3K Run organised by the NTPC Sports Council at MG Stadium, Jyothinagar, on Sunday.
The event was inaugurated by Shri Chandan Kumar Samanta, Executive Director (R&T), who encouraged employees and their families to embrace fitness, sports and a healthy lifestyle.
The run witnessed enthusiastic participation from 226 participants across different age groups and categories, reflecting the strong sporting spirit of the NTPC Ramagundam community. The participation includes 40 men and 6 women above 45 years, 90 men and 50 women below 45 years, and 40 boys and girls.
The event provides an opportunity for employees, ladies and children to come together beyond the workplace, promoting fitness, camaraderie and a culture of active living.
The enthusiastic turnout and spirited participation make the 3K Run a vibrant highlight of the National Sports Day celebrations at NTPC Ramagundam.
