NEW DELHI, AUGUST 13, 2026: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Thursday hoisted the Tricolour at his Delhi residence as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
The initiative follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to citizens to display the National Flag at their homes and participate in the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign from August 9 to 17. Several senior BJP leaders are also joining the initiative and encouraging people to celebrate the spirit of patriotism.
Amit Shah’s participation was highlighted through pictures showing him hoisting the Tricolour at his residence. The campaign seeks to promote national pride, unity and respect for the National Flag, while encouraging citizens to actively participate in Independence Day celebrations. The initiative has gained participation from political leaders as well as citizens across the country. The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being presented as a mass movement aimed at strengthening the emotional connection between citizens and the National Flag and encouraging a shared sense of national identity.
