KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 11, 2026: The Northern Power Distribution Corporation Limited (NPDCL) Karimnagar district unit has announced power cuts in various parts of Karimnagar town and its outskirts areas on Wednesday (August 12) as part of the Pre-Monsoon Inspection (PMI) tree-cutting.
There will be no power supply from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM due to PMI Tree cutting of 11 KV Sammakka Gaddelu Feeder. The Affected areas include: Sammakka Gaddelu, Vijayapuri colony, Swamy colony, Shekabi colony, Indramma colony, Eye hospital, Maitrivanam, Budige Jangala colony and  Anjaneyulu colony.
The power supply will be cut from 08:00 AM to 10:00 AM for line maintenance on 11KV CC feeder. Supply affected areas: Â Â Â Â Â Mukarampura area, Collectorate office area, Bus stand area, One town police station area, Bhagathnagar area, EPF office area
The power supply interruption is from 12.00 hours to 13.30 hours for 11KVA Ujwala Park feeder new DTR work. The affected areas include Shradhayni hotel area, NTR statue area, D Mart area, By-pass area, Polytechnic college area and ITI college area.
There will be no power supply from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM due to maintenance at 33/11KV Asifnagar and Bavupeta ES. Affected areas include: Asifnagar village, Asifnagar Industrial Area, Elagandal village and Elagandal Industrial Area.
The NPDCL officials have urged the consumers to cooperate with NPDCL for the interruption of power supply.
