TIRUMALA, AUGUST 08, 2026: In the wake of weekend holidays, the heavy pilgrim rush continues in Tirumala on Saturday.
All the compartments were filled to the brim and queue lines extended over to Shithoranam. The devotees are taking 18 hours for darshan through free Sarva Darshanam and time slot SSD token around eight hours, and Rs 300 Special Entry Darshan (SED) devotees are taking five hours’ time for darshan.
On Friday, a total of 75,533 devotees had darshan and 35,551 devotees tonsured their heads. The hundi collection was Rs 3.81 crore, laddu prasamdam sales were 4.46 lakhs, Annapasadam was served to 2.85 lakh, and treatment was provided to 3,551 persons at Ashwini Hospital.
