KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 05, 2026: Professor B. Ramesh, Principal of the Government Degree and PG College (GDC) Jammikunta, urged students to study with passion and build successful careers as the college launched the third consecutive year of its highly successful Midday Meal Programme.
The launch event was held on Wednesday on the college campus under the chairmanship of Principal Professor B. Ramesh. This year’s daily nutritional supplement programme is made possible through the generous sponsorship of Dr K. Thirupathi and Dr. K. Swarnalatha, directors of Suraksha Multispeciality Hospitals in Jammikunta.
Addressing the gathering, Professor Ramesh advised students to utilise the free lunch facility to improve their health and achieve top academic results. He noted that the impact of the program over the past two years has been highly tangible, leading to a significant rise in fresh student admissions and a substantial increase in daily classroom attendance. The Principal gratefully acknowledged the institutional foundation of the programme, extending his sincere thanks to past sponsors including Sri Batchu Bhaskar, as well as Dr. Ramu, Dr. Srivani, Dr. Srinivas, and Dr. Rani from the management of Srirama Multispeciality Hospital for their critical financial backing during the past two years.
