HYDERABAD, JULY 30, 2026:Â The executive committee meeting of the Telangana State Universities Non-Teaching Employees Association (TUNTEA) was held at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University on Thursday. TUNTEA President Abdul Khader Khan and Secretary General Kantham Premakumar handed over letters of nomination to Vallala Tirupati, General Secretary of Kakatiya University NGO Employees Association, as TUNTEA Working President; Boora Naveen Kumar as Vice President; and Tati Damodar as Joint Secretary, and they will serve in the State association for the next three years.
Speaking on the occasion, State President Abdul Khader Khan called for Health cards for all employees working in the universities, release of pending DA, implementation of PRC, immediate filling up of non-teaching staff vacancies, scrapping of the CPS system and implementation of the old pension scheme, and launching a membership enrollment drive in universities. He said that the association should be strengthened through membership and called for protecting employees’ rights. Later, the newly elected executive committee was felicitated.
