HYDERABAD, JULY 28, 2026: Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, Chairman, Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), graced the National Conference on “Leadership, Technology & Sustainability: Reshaping Management Education for a Global–Local Future” as the Chief Guest at Dhruva College of Management.
In his keynote address, Prof. Reddy highlighted the five transformative forces shaping higher education and management—Digitalisation, Liberalisation, Globalisation, Covidisation, and Futurisation. He explained that Liberalisation created new economic opportunities, Globalisation connected economies across the world, Digitalisation transformed education and business practices, Covidisation accelerated the adoption of technology, and Futurisation requires institutions to prepare students with competencies in artificial intelligence, data analytics, innovation, sustainability, and ethical leadership.
Prof. Reddy emphasised that every citizen, particularly students pursuing management education, should have a sound understanding of the law, the Constitution of India, and global trade. He noted that awareness of these areas is essential for developing responsible, ethical, and informed leaders. He further stressed that future managers must possess a strong understanding of the legal framework, constitutional values, and international business practices to make effective decisions in an increasingly interconnected world. He urged higher educational institutions to nurture industry-ready, socially responsible, and globally competent management professionals through innovation, research, lifelong learning, and value-based education.
The conference was also addressed by Dr. P. Narayan Reddy, Treasurer; Dr. Durga Prasad, Executive Director, AIMS; Dr. R. Nanda Gopal, Former President, AIMS; Prof. B. Ramesh, National Board Member, AIMS; Dr. Jalaja, Director, Dhruva College of Management; and Smt. S. Pushpalatha, Vice Chairperson, Dhruva College of Management, who shared their insights on leadership, technology, sustainability, and the evolving landscape of management education.
