KARIMNAGAR, JULY 24, 2026: The CBSE Schools Cluster VII Kho-Kho competitions for Under-14, 17 and 19 (girls) at Alphores e-techno school, Kothapalli in Karimnagar town, were formally inaugurated amidst cheers and anticipation on Friday.
Choppadandi legislator and DCC president Medipalli Satyam, Additional Collector Ashwini Tanaji, Assistant Collector V Hariprasad, Regional Officer Jangam Sunil Kumar, Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy, Telangana Kho-Kho association referee board convenor V Surya Prakash, Kho-Kho International referee V Ravinder and others attended.
The ceremony commenced with an inspiring address by the chief guest, Ashwinin Tanaji, highlighting the importance of sports and games in a person’s overall development.
Medipalli Satyam motivated the participants to play with zeal, courage and integrity, upholding the true spirit of sportsmanship. “Sports is a field that brings all of us together from across the country and fosters unity and patriotism,” he added. He also said that the Telangana government was promoting sports among the youth.
CBSE New Delhi Observer Bharath Kumar, district kho-kho association general secretary Y Mahender Rao, Telangana kho-kho association general secretary V Surya Prakash, municipal corporator Vasala Ramesh, district Olympic association president Nandelli Mahipal and others were also present.
