RAMAGUNDAM, JULY 22, 2026: The NTPC Ramagundam, as part of its CSR initiative, has laid the foundation stone for the construction of CC Roads, BT Roads, and Underground Drainage works worth ₹561.71 lakhs in Division Nos. 2, 32, 33, 34, and 49 of Ramagundam Municipal Corporation on Wednesday.
The programme was attended by Ramagundam MLA Makkan Singh Raj Thakur; Mayor, Ramagundam Municipal Corporation, Mahankali Swamy; Municipal Commissioner, Ramagundam Municipal Corporation and Additional Collector, Jalda Aruna Sri, Head of HR, NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana, Sagar Ranjan Sahoo; DGM (HR), Pravin K. Choudhari; Corporators of the respective divisions; and a large number of residents.
During the event, the MLA and the Mayor highly appreciated NTPC’s CSR initiatives and its significant contribution towards community development. They acknowledged the positive impact of NTPC’s efforts in improving local infrastructure. They also requested NTPC to continue extending similar support for the overall development of the Ramagundam region and the project-affected villages in the future.
