HYDERABAD, JULY 16, 2026: The Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (IIE) Cell, under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women (BRECW), Hyderabad, successfully organised a One-Day Workshop on “AI for Fundraising and Investor Pitch Preparation” on 16th July 2026 at Seminar Hall, WB-401. The programme was conducted for III B.Tech students in CSE, CSM, IT, EEE, and ECE to empower aspiring entrepreneurs by introducing them to the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in startup fundraising, investor engagement, and business development.
The inaugural session began with the traditional lighting of the lamp in the presence of the college management, faculty members, and enthusiastic students. The workshop was designed to provide participants with practical knowledge of how AI can be effectively leveraged to strengthen entrepreneurial ventures by simplifying business planning, improving market analysis, preparing financial projections, and developing impactful investor pitch decks. The sessions also focused on AI-assisted idea validation, business model development, prompt engineering, and communication strategies for attracting investors.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. V. Sudha, Secretary, encouraged students to embrace Artificial Intelligence and continuously enhance their skills to become future-ready entrepreneurs. Dr. Ch. Sujatha Gangadhar, Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the institution’s commitment to promoting innovation through industry-oriented programmes. Dr. K. Gracy Saila Sree, Director – HR & Academics, appreciated the initiative and emphasised the growing importance of AI in entrepreneurship and business innovation.


Dr G. Shyama Chandra Prasad, Principal, motivated students to actively participate in the interactive sessions and make the most of the practical learning opportunities provided during the workshop. Mr. G. Dayakar Reddy, Vice Principal, commended the efforts of the organising team for conducting a highly relevant programme that aligns with the evolving needs of the startup ecosystem.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Samit Kumar Singh, IIC Convener & IIE Cell Coordinator, who briefed the participants on the objectives, learning outcomes, and practical activities planned for the day. Through expert-led sessions, live demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, students explored the use of AI tools for preparing compelling investor presentations, refining business ideas, conducting market research, generating financial forecasts, and creating persuasive fundraising strategies. The programme also encouraged participants to think creatively, validate innovative business concepts, and confidently present startup ideas to potential investors.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks, marking the successful completion of an insightful learning experience that equipped students with practical AI-driven entrepreneurial skills. The programme reaffirmed BRECW’s commitment to promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-relevant education while preparing students to become confident innovators, successful startup founders, and future leaders in the rapidly evolving technology-driven economy.
