KNR Health University VC advises doctors to upgrade their knowledge with emerging technologies and innovative treatment
Over 1,000 delegates attend the three-day conference, and more than 250 PG students participate in various workshops and conferences
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 05, 2026: The three-day 11th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, Telangana state –ISACON TG 2026, organised at Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Karimnagar town, concluded on Sunday. Karimnagr Society of Anaesthesiology organised the Conference under the guidance of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiology and PIMS.
Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences Vice Chancellor Dr K Ramesh Reddy has advised doctors to utilise annual medical conferences to upgrade their knowledge of emerging technologies, innovative treatments, and multidisciplinary research. Prathima Hospital’s director Dr Boinipalli Harini, called upon the doctors to utilise such conferences to update their knowledge and skills as per the changing medical treatment procedures.
Anaesthesia specialists from across Telangana state deliberated on emerging challenges, latest trends, and new research in the field of anaesthesia, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and minimising post-surgical pain.
Anaesthesiologists are involved in some practices, including preoperative optimisation, management of high dependency and intensive care units, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, acute and chronic pain management, emergency medicine, disaster management and patient transfers between hospitals.
“Anaesthesia is deservingly referred to as the lifeline of modern medicine. Without advancement in this speciality, major surgical operations such as open heart surgeries, neurosurgeries and many other complex surgeries would not be possible,” the experts informed.
Conference organising chairman Dr Naresh Anamalla expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, sponsors, and delegates for their support. He acknowledged the collective efforts of IMA Karimnagar and Telangana state members and reiterated the association’s commitment to advancing medical education and community healthcare.
