Raising the Standards of Srivari Seva through “Train the Trainers” Programme
2,600 Srivari Sevaks to be Trained in 10 Batches
TIRUMALA, JULY 03, 2026: As part of the initiative to strengthen and raise the standards of Srivari Seva, a “Train the Trainers” programme for Srivari Sevaks is being conducted at Tirumala under the aegis of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. Venkaiah Chowdary, Additional Executive Officer, participated as the Chief Guest. Dr. Ravi, CPRO, also attended the programme and guided the trainers and Sevaks.
Around 2,600 Srivari Sevaks from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha and other States have registered online for the programme. The training is being organised in 10 batches to ensure systematic orientation, uniform service standards and effective coordination among the Sevaks.
Addressing the participants, Dr. S. L. N. T. Srinivas stated that Srivari Seva is not merely a responsibility but a sacred opportunity to serve devotees in the divine presence of Lord Venkateswara. He emphasised that service-mindedness, discipline, punctuality, cleanliness, humility and courteous interaction with devotees are the essential qualities of an ideal Srivari Sevak.
He stated that the trainers should impart not only duty-related knowledge but also the spirit of Seva, spiritual orientation, discipline, communication skills and the importance of compassionate behaviour towards devotees. He further stressed the need to follow Standard Operating Procedures, safety norms, hygiene standards and proper coordination with officials at all service locations.
Sri Venkaiah Chowdary, Additional EO, observed that quality, discipline and a responsible service approach are vital to maintaining the highest standards in Srivari Seva. He urged the trained trainers to provide proper guidance to Sevaks and help ensure a more meaningful and efficient service experience for devotees.
Dr. Ravi, CPRO, said that polite, patient and empathetic interaction with devotees would further enhance the dignity and reputation of Tirumala. He called upon trainers, Sevaks and officials to work in close coordination for the successful conduct of all Seva activities.
Dr. S. L. N. T. Srinivas appealed to all participants to perform their responsibilities with devotion and dedication, guided by the spirit of “Seva is Srivari Seva.” Trainers, Srivari Sevaks and concerned staff members participated in the programme.
