RAMAGUNDAM, JULY 03, 2026: As part of its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and community involvement, Sacred Heart High School, Godavarikhani, successfully organised a tree plantation drive on the school premises on Friday.
The initiative was conducted under the aegis of the school’s Eco Club. The event was inaugurated by Ramagundam Mayor Mahankali Swamy, along with Principal Sister Arogya Mary, Office In-charge Vijaya, and NCC Officer PD Jyothsna and others.
On this occasion, the Mayor said that the initiative aimed not only at afforestation but also at instilling a sense of responsibility and environmental stewardship among students. The students showcased their creativity through dance, skit, and speeches centred on Mother Earth. The Eco Club took a step forward in fostering awareness about climate change, biodiversity and sustainable living. All students also took the Eco Pledge.
