Kakatiya University initiates MoUs with three German universities

WARANGAL, JULY 02, 2026:  Kakatiya University has initiated the process of signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with three universities in Germany to expand academic and research collaborations as part of its internationalisation drive.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. Pratap Reddy submitted Letters of Intent (LoIs) to the international relations divisions of RWTH Aachen University, Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences and the University of Göttingen during his visit to the institutions on June 1, 2026.

The initiative was undertaken in the presence of Higher Education Secretary Dr. Yogita Rana, RUSA 2.0 State Project Officer Dr. Soundarya Joseph, RUSA 2.0 Nodal Officer of Kakatiya University Prof. R. Mallikarjuna Reddy and Osmania University Vice-Chancellor Prof. M. Kumar, who participated in the discussions.

The proposed MoUs are expected to provide Kakatiya University students with opportunities for higher education, joint research, student and faculty exchange programmes, participation in summer and winter schools, and collaborative academic initiatives with the German institutions.
