Five-day Faculty Development Programme on Agentic AI, Cyber Security and Quantum Computing inaugurated at JITS in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 30, 2026:  Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, has formally inaugurated a 5-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Agentic AI, Cyber Security and Quantum Computing” from on Tuesday.

The training programme would be concluded on July 4, 2026. The programme is organised by the Training & Placement Cell in association with IBM SkillsBuild, TASK (Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge), and the Government of Telangana.

The FDP aims to equip faculty members with emerging technologies that are shaping the future of engineering education and industry. The sessions cover advanced topics including Agentic AI, Cyber Security, Quantum Computing, AI-driven automation, and hands-on applications.

The programme is being conducted by Mr. Narendra Eluri, Master Trainer, IBM SkillsBuild, who is delivering expert sessions combining theoretical concepts with practical demonstrations.

On this occasion, Chairman Juvvadi Sagar Rao stated that the institution is committed to providing quality professional development opportunities for faculty members, enabling them to stay updated with the latest technological advancements and deliver industry-relevant education. A Gangaprasad, TASK DDM, Karimnagar, also participated in this programme.

Secretary & Correspondent Sri J. Sumith Sai emphasised that continuous faculty training is essential for academic excellence and innovation, and such programmes strengthen the institution’s commitment to outcome-based education.

Principal Dr. T. Anil Kumar highlighted that the FDP will enhance faculty competencies in cutting-edge technologies and promote research, innovation, and industry collaboration.

Dean – Academics & Audit Dr. P. K. Vaishali remarked that the programme will help faculty integrate emerging technologies into classroom teaching and inspire students towards research-oriented learning.

The management appreciated the support extended by IBM SkillsBuild, TASK, and all the participants for making the programme a grand success.
