NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana Observes 12th International Yoga Day

RAMAGUNDAM, JUNE 21, 2026: NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana observed the 12th International Yoga Day on Sunday at Kakatiya Function Hall, PTS, with enthusiastic participation from employees, executives, and their family members. The programme was organised to promote the importance of yoga in achieving physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

The event commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest and dignitaries, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Participants viewed inspiring video messages on yoga by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Gurudev, Founder of Art of Living, highlighting the significance of yoga as a way of life.

A brief session on the importance of International Yoga Day was conducted, followed by the introduction of the faculty members from the Art of Living. The main attraction of the programme was a special session on “Yoga for Healthy Ageing”, conducted by Shri T. Ramana Prasad, Stress Management Expert, and Smt. Y. Madhavi, Yoga Trainer. The session focused on simple and effective yogic practices for maintaining physical fitness, mental wellness, and a healthy lifestyle.

The faculty members and internal coordinators were felicitated for their contributions towards the successful conduct of the programme. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and emphasised the role of yoga in enhancing overall well-being and productivity.

The observance of International Yoga Day reaffirmed NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana’s commitment to fostering a culture of health, wellness, and holistic development among its employees and stakeholders.
