NALGONDA, JUNE 06, 2026: Mahatma Gandhi University’s Vice-Chancellor Prof. Khaja Alhtaf Hussain urged every employee to commit to their roles with dedication and uphold the university’s standards of service, ethics, and commitment.
Participating as the chief guest at an orientation program held for non-teaching staff on Saturday, the Vice Chancellor emphasized that achieving administrative efficiency relies on hard work, commitment, punctuality, and adherence to established rules, which are essential for maintaining the university’s prestige.
Prof. Althaf highlighted the importance of transparency and accountability, advocating for clear procedures and feedback systems involving multiple stakeholders. Assistant Registrars of Maulana Azad Urdu University, Abdul Rashid Sheikh and Dr. Quddus addressed the attendees, noting the need to enhance training, funding, and mentoring through partnerships with national organizations.
They pointed out that the university’s growth could be fostered by bolstering institutional capacity through collaborative projects with other educational and research institutions. Suggestions included implementing mutual exchanges, case-study training programs, and practical initiatives. They proposed that quality services could be improved through in-house training sessions focused on regulations, service standards, documentation management, and quality control procedures (SOPs). They asserted the necessity for courses in front-file efficiency, office innovation, digital record-keeping, and public communication and stated that performance could be enhanced through case studies and group supervision, emphasizing the importance of clear monitoring mechanisms.
It was proposed that each department should adopt key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct annual performance evaluation transparently. Additionally, they urged the allocation of a training budget and prioritization of ongoing workshops and capacity-building programs. Projects should be designed collaboratively with partners and in conjunction with external organizations. Varsity Registrar Prof. Koppula Anji Reddy, Director (Infrastructure) Akula Ravi, and the entire non-teaching staff were present.
