Ghulam flays MIM leaders for conduct of Eid Milap without instructions of party high command in Karimnagar
Ahmed thanks Owaisi for his appointment as BLA-1 to cover Karimnagar and Bhupalapalli districts to oversee SIR
KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 03, 2026: Karimnagar MIM district president Syed Ghulam Ahmed Hussain has thanked AIMIM national president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi for appointing him as the Booth Level Agent-1 (BLA) for Karimnagar and Bhupalapalli districts to oversee the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voters.
Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday, Mr Ghulam Ahmed said he would be indebted to Mr Owaisi for life and strive to strengthen the party in the district. Stating that the MIM does not have any groups and they have only one group that is the Owaisi group, he said the party decision is final, and it should be obeyed by the rank and file. He said that there are no seniors or juniors in the party and he was striving for strengthening of the party and ensure that the MIM emerge as a force to reckon with in the ensuing Assembly elections in Karimnagar district.
Alleging that two MIM Karimnagar municipal corporators were moving closely with the BRS, which is a sinking ship, Mr Ahmed charged that the defeated candidates in Municipal elections were misleading the party cadre by stating that they had received high command instructions.
Referring to the recent conduct of ‘Eid Milap’ in collusion with the BRS in Karimnagar town, the MIM district president said that the MIM had no role in the conduct of Eid Milap as the party had not given instructions. But the defeated MIM candidates had colluded with BRS and organised the programme, which has no value, he added.
With the SIR programme, he said that the MIM appointed around 1500 BLA-2 to cover 390 booths and clarify the doubts of voters and ensure that all eligible persons were enrolled as voters. MIM joint secretary Syed Moijuddin Quadri, treasurer Syed Advocate Ibrahim, corporators Majid Hussain, Joint secretary MA Saleem, former corporators Arif Ahmed, Lingampalli Srinu, Ahmed Mohiuddin Babujani and others were also present.
