SIDDIPET, JUNE 01, 2026: Kaveri University (KU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Preunique India Private Limited (PUIPL) to promote collaboration in Oil Palm development, agricultural research, skill development, technology transfer, and farmer support services.
The MoU was exchanged between Vice Chancellor of Kaveri University, Prof. Dr. V. Praveen Rao, and Dr. Prasad Rao Pasam, Director–Plantations, Preunique India Private Limited.
Under this partnership, both organisations will work together in areas such as joint research, faculty and student exchange, training programmes, soil testing and advisory services, technology development, FPO formation, capacity building, and sustainable agricultural development. PUIPL will also provide technical support to Kaveri University for implementing Oil Palm Development Programmes under the National Mission on Edible Oils–Oil Palm (NMEO-OP).

The collaboration is expected to strengthen industry-academia partnerships and contribute to the growth of the horticulture and Oil Palm sectors while enhancing opportunities for students, farmers, and stakeholders.
The program was attended by University Registrar Dr B. Srinivasulu, Deans Dr Pratap Kumar Reddy, Dr.Konda Srinivas, IQAC Head Dr. B. Kavitha Rani, senior professors, heads of departments, and faculty members.
