KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 01, 2026: On the occasion of World Bicycle day, which would be celebrated on the theme of ‘Cycling for a Greener Future’ which emphasizes the bicycle role in cutting carbon emissions, combating traffic congestion and building sustainable, healthy urban environment, the Karimnagar district cycling association and AK Pedals have decided to conduct a bicycle rally from Indira Chowk to Elgandal fort on the outskirts of the Karimnagar town on June 3 at 5.30 am.
Disclosing this to newsmen after releasing posters of the cycle rally at Alphores Educational Institutions in Vavilapalli in Karimnagar town on Monday, Karimnagar Cycling Association chairman V Narender Reddy, president B Madhusudhan Reddy and others informed the enthusiastic bicycle riders and cyclists to participate in the cycle rally to create awareness about the importance of protection of environment from pollution.
The participants should participate in the rally with their own bicycle. Participation and appreciation certificates would be issued to all the participants. World Bicycle Day is not just about riding — it’s about rising. Rising above habits that harm our planet and moving towards a future that breathes cleaner air and builds healthier communities, the organisers stated.
