TIRUPATI, MAY 31, 2026: The nine-day annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Govindaraja Swamy in Tirupati concluded grandly on Sunday night with the sacred Dwajavarohanam ceremony.
The ritual was performed at 8.40 p.m. amidst Vedic chanting and Mangala Vadyams. The Garuda flag was lowered, marking the ceremonial conclusion of the festival and the farewell to the deities invited during Dwajarohanam.
According to temple tradition, devotees who participate in Brahmotsavams are blessed with prosperity, good health, and divine grace.
Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Deputy EO Smt. Shanthi, AEO Sri Narayana Choudari, Temple Inspector Sri Dhananjaya, priests, officials, and devotees participated in the event.
