RAMAGUNDAM, MAY 28, 202: Reinforcing its commitment towards environmental sustainability and community welfare, NTPC Ramagundam, in collaboration with TGSRTC, organised a Tree Plantation and Swachhta Drive at the Godavarikhani Bus Station on Thursday.
The initiative was carried out under NTPC’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness and cleanliness in public spaces. Employees, volunteers, representatives from TGSRTC, and local stakeholders enthusiastically participated in the programme and contributed towards making the surroundings greener and cleaner.
Simultaneously, a Swachhta Drive was conducted in and around the bus station premises. The participants cleaned public areas, collected waste materials, and spread awareness among the public about the importance of cleanliness, hygiene, and responsible waste disposal.
Speaking on the occasion, NTPC officials highlighted that environmental protection and public cleanliness are collective responsibilities and such initiatives reflect the organisation’s dedication towards building a cleaner and greener society. Representatives from TGSRTC appreciated the collaborative effort and encouraged continued public participation in similar activities.
The programme witnessed active involvement from employees, local citizens, sanitation workers, and officials from both NTPC Ramagundam and TGSRTC, showcasing the spirit of teamwork and social responsibility.
Through such initiatives, NTPC Ramagundam continues to contribute meaningfully towards sustainable development and community engagement, in line with the vision of Swachh Bharat and environmental conservation.
