TIRUPATI, MAY 24, 2026: On the second day of the Brahmotsavams at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Lord Govindaraja Swamy appeared in Saraswati Devi Alankaram atop the divine Hamsa Vahanam on Sunday night and blessed devotees.
The procession began at 7 pm amidst spiritual fervour. Decorated bulls, horses and elephants led the procession, while bhajan groups, kolatams and Govinda namasmarana filled the Mada streets of Tirupati with devotion. Devotees offered haratis and had divine darshan of the Lord.


According to scriptures, the Hamsa symbolises wisdom and spiritual discrimination. The Lord rides the Hamsa Vahanam to bless devotees with knowledge, humility and spiritual enlightenment.
Tirumala Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Deputy EO Smt. Shanthi, AEO Sri Narayana Chowdary, temple officials, priests and a large number of devotees participated in the vahana seva.
