KARIMNAGAR, MAY 16, 2026: As part of the sixth day of Education Week celebrations, an online seminar on “AI Trends and Emerging Technologies” through the Zoom platform was held at Government Degree College for Women (Autonomous), Karimnagar, on Saturday.
The seminar was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Prof. D. Varalakshmi, and coordinated by P Swaroopa, Coordinator of Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika Committee. Faculty members and students from various departments actively participated in the online programme.
The session was hosted by M. Kalpana, who welcomed the participants and highlighted the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies in the present educational and professional world.
The resource person for the seminar was B. SaiSindhu, Sr. Developer, Newzen Infotech*, who delivered an informative lecture on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, digital transformation, automation, and future technological advancements. The speaker explained how AI is influencing different sectors such as education, healthcare, communication, banking, and the software industries.

Students actively interacted with the speaker and gained valuable knowledge regarding career opportunities, technical skills, and future trends in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies. The seminar created awareness among students about innovation, digital learning, and the importance of upgrading technological skills.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal *Prof. D. Varalakshmi* emphasised that such seminars help students improve their digital awareness and prepare themselves for future career opportunities in technology-driven fields. She encouraged students to actively participate in skill-oriented programmes and make effective use of modern technology for academic excellence and professional growth.
