Local MLA enters the temple along with his personal gunman with a firearm, violating norms
TIRUPATI, MA 03, 2026: The news circulating on social media alleging failure of TTD security personnel at Sri Veda Narayana Swamy Temple in Nagalapuram village of Tirupati district is not true.
Today, when the local MLA entered the temple for darshan of the Lord, his personal gunman accompanied him carrying a firearm. The TTD security personnel objected to this.
Despite being instructed not to proceed for darshan, the said gunman did not comply. While escorting the local MLA out of the temple, the TTD security staff tried to stop him, but he proceeded up to the Ashirvada Mandapam and later came out along with the MLA.
Although the TTD regulations were clearly explained to the gunman, he violated the rules. Therefore, the matter has been brought to the notice of the district police authorities for immediate action.
