Bandi Sanjay calls upon the BJP cadres to intensify the movement
KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 20, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party has launched a strong protest against the State Government’s decision to establish a dumping yard on the outskirts of Huzurabad. The party has resolved to intensify its agitation through protests, road blockades, dharnas, and other forms of demonstration, and is prepared to continue the movement until the government reverses its decision.
Led by BJP Karimnagar District President Gangadi Krishna Reddy, party leaders from the Huzurabad constituency met Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar today at the Karimnagar MP’s office. During the meeting, they highlighted the growing concern and distress among residents regarding the proposed dumping yard.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar warned that setting up a dumping yard would make life extremely difficult for residents in the surrounding areas. He cautioned that it could trigger serious health problems and even impact marriage prospects for youth in Huzurabad. Drawing from experience, he noted that he has personally seen the hardships faced by people living near the Karimnagar dumping yard and stressed that such a situation must be avoided.
Given the legitimate concerns of Huzurabad residents, he called on the BJP to gear up for a large-scale agitation. He urged party workers to remain resolute once the movement begins and to continue protests in multiple forms until the government is compelled to step back. He emphasised that the agitation should intensify enough to reach the highest levels of the government, assuring his full support and cooperation throughout.
He also advised party members to ignore criticism or ridicule from certain political parties and leaders, stating that their sustained struggle and action on the ground would be the strongest response.
Afterwards, Bandi Sanjay Kumar held detailed discussions on the strategy for the agitation against the proposed dumping yard. He outlined a series of measures and guided the sequence of protest activities to be undertaken. He urged leaders to register their protest at every level—from the District Collector to the highest authorities in the State.
He also emphasised the need to simultaneously intensify public protests while preparing for a legal course of action if required. As part of the immediate plan, a meeting of key BJP leaders will be held in Huzurabad tomorrow under the leadership of District President Gangadi Krishna Reddy to finalize the agitation roadmap.
On the same day, a protest would be organised in Huzurabad, followed by plans to stage a large-scale dharna near the District Collectorate at the district headquarters.
