KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 17, 2026: A commemorative programme in memory of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the philosopher, statesman and second president of India, was organised under the aegis of the National Service Scheme (NSS) at Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women (TGSWRDC-W), Karimnagar.
On this occasion, faculty members and students paid floral tributes to the portrait of Dr Radhakrishnan and remembered his invaluable contributions to education and the nation. The programme highlighted the importance of teachers, educational values, and the role of educators in shaping society.
The event was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, T. Malathi, Vice Principal S. Padmaja, and ACO, G. Vasumathi, along with the active participation of staff and students. The NSS Coordinator, Geetharani, played a key role in organising and overseeing the programme. Speakers emphasised the need for students to uphold moral values and strive for excellence in both academics and social service.

The NSS volunteers actively contributed to the success of the event. The program concluded with a message encouraging students to contribute positively to society through education and service.
