TIRUPATI, APRIL 16, 2026: Renowned spiritual scholar Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao visited the sacred shrine of Sri Kamakshi Sametha Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple, located amidst the holy Saptagiris in Tirupati, on Wednesday. He had darshan of the Lord and performed special puja rituals.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, he said that as per the Puranas, taking a holy dip in Kapila Theertham—considered one of the most sacred among the Saptagiris—pleases not only the deities but also the ancestral spirits.
He explained that devotees should first have darshan of Lord Vighneswara, and then worship Sri Kamakshi Sametha Kapileswara Swamy. By doing so, they are blessed with progeny, prosperity, and family well-being.

He further stated that visiting Lord Kalabhairava, the Kotilingas, and the sacred Bilva tree before leaving the temple would bestow additional auspicious benefits.
Former TTD EO LV Subrahmanyam, Superintendent K.P. Chandrasekhar, priests, officials, and staff also participated in the programme.
