RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, APRIL 11, 2026: In a shocking incident, the burglars have stolen the entire ATM machine along with cash very near the police station in Yellareddypet mandal headquarters in Rajanna-Sircilla district in the wee hours of Saturday.
Reports reaching here said that the burglars tried to open the State Bank of India ATM, and when they failed to pry it open, they dug up the entire ATM and carried it away. The sources said that the ATM had around Rs 8 lakhs in cash when it was stolen.
Incidentally, the incident took place just a stone’s throw away from the Yellareddypet police station. SP Mahesh B Githe and other officials visited the site. The police have launched an investigation by collecting the evidence from the nearby CCTV footage.
