HYDERABAD, APRIL 02, 2026: The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) hosted a vibrant two-day Art and Teaching Aids Exhibition from 1–2 April on its campus, drawing enthusiastic participation from student teachers and educators. Organised by the Department of Education, School of English Language Education, the exhibition showcased a wide range of innovative teaching aids designed to make language learning interactive, engaging, and communicative.
EFLU Vice-Chancellor Prof. N. Nagaraju inaugurated the exhibition and interacted with the exhibit makers. He praised the creativity and dedication of the participants, noting how their innovative teaching aids could transform classrooms into dynamic spaces to foster active learning.
With over 100 unique exhibits on display, the event offered a rich showcase of cost-effective pedagogical tools designed to enhance English language teaching. The exhibits ranged from handmade teaching aids and interactive learning materials to educational games and visually stimulating art projects. Each creation reflected the participants’ commitment to making lessons in language and communication skills more accessible and enjoyable.

The exhibition was not merely a display of artistic talent but a celebration of modern pedagogy. It underscored the pivotal role of visual aids and interactive tools in contemporary education, giving visitors – including teachers, teacher-educators, and students from various schools and training institutions – a first-hand glimpse into innovative teaching methodologies. By blending creativity with functionality, the exhibits demonstrated how resourceful teaching aids can bridge gaps in understanding and foster active participation in classrooms.
The annual event has become a hallmark of EFLU’s commitment to nurturing future educators who are not only proficient in language teaching but also adept at designing engaging teaching tools. This year’s exhibition reaffirmed the university’s ongoing endeavour to integrate art and innovation with pedagogy, thereby enhancing the teaching-learning process.
