TIRUMALA, APRIL 08, 2024: Sri Krodhinama Samvatsara Ugadi Asthanam will be held in Srivari Temple at Tirumala on April 9.
To celebrate this festival, Suprabhatam is first performed at 3 am, followed by Shuddhi. At 6 o’clock in the morning Sridevi Bhudevi along with Sri Malayappa Swamy and Vishvaksena will be offered a special offering.
Between 7 am and 9 am they enter the temple in a procession parading around the vimana prakaram and the temple flagpole. After that Srivari Moolavirattu and Utsavamurthies will be draped in new clothes.
After that panchaga shravana and Ugadi Asthanam will be conducted by Agama Pandits and priests at Bangaru Vakili.
TTD has cancelled Arjithasevas such as Ashtadala Padapadmaradhana, Kalyanotsavam, Unjalseva and Arjitha Brahmotsavam in connection with Ugadi.
