TIRUPATI, MARCH 13, 2026: The sacred Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam was observed with religious fervour on Friday at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple. It is customary to perform this ritual ahead of the annual Brahmotsavams, which are scheduled to take place from March 17 to 25 at the temple.
On this occasion, the Lord was awakened with Suprabhatam, followed by Thomala Seva and Sahasranamarchana in the morning. The Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam was conducted from 6.30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
As part of the ritual, the temple premises were cleansed thoroughly. A fragrant mixture prepared with turmeric, kumkum, sandalwood, camphor, kitchili root, kasturi turmeric and pachhaaku was sprinkled on the walls of the sanctum sanctorum. After completion of the ritual, devotees were allowed for darshan.

Curtains Donated to the Temple
A devotee, Prasanna Reddy from Hyderabad, donated four curtains, while Mani from Tirupati offered two curtains to the temple on Friday.
Among those present were Temple Deputy EO Nagaratna, Chief Priest A.P. Anand Kumar Dikshitulu, Temple Inspector Suresh, and other officials.
Ankurarpanam on March 16
The Ankurarpanam for the Brahmotsavams will be performed on March 16 from 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. On the occasion, rituals such as Senadhipati Utsavam, Medini Puja and Mrutsangrahanam will be conducted.
