
NALGONDA, MARCH 12, 2026: The prestigious ‘Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika’ initiative launched by the Government took place on Thursday on the University College of Arts & Social Sciences (UCA&SS) campus, organised by the units 1 & 2 of the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU).
Participants actively contributed to keeping the campus clean by clearing away plastic waste and litter from around the college. An environmental cleanliness drive also occurred within the classrooms and various departments, ensuring that the learning spaces were neat and tidy. Incharge Principal and Director of Students’ Welfare, K. Aruna Priya, NSS Programme Officers, Mohammed Sharif and Mathari Anand as well as faculty members from different departments, including Prof Srinivas Vooradi, Prof Kokkonda Vijaya Babu, Prof Kalsani Mohan Reddy, Pandaraiah, Ravinder Reddy, Panasa Ramakrishna, Satyanarayana Reddy, Anitha Kumari, Aravind, Anil Kumar, Chakri, Nagarjuna, and Vivek were also present, ensuring the success of the programme.
