RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, MARCH 11, 2026: D Pravalika, B Com (CA) first-year student from Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Shatrajupalli, Vemulawada, has been selected for the State Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament Competition, which was conducted at Vikas Degree & PG College, Rajanna Sircilla District.
Pravalika showcased excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and awareness on national issues during the competition, which helped her secure a place at the state level. Her achievement has brought great pride to the college and inspired fellow students to actively participate in such academic and leadership activities.
On this occasion, College Principal K Lavanya, Vice Principal B Sumalatha, and the NSS team appreciated D Pravalika for her achievement and encouraged her to continue striving for greater success.

Plantation drive and beautification of classrooms
As part of the Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika – Day 6, on Wednesday, the Department of Botany, in collaboration with the NSS Team, organised several activities, including a plantation drive, beautification of classrooms, dormitories, and the college campus, and beautification and verification of dustbin places to promote cleanliness and environmental awareness.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of Reddymalla Deepthi, Head of the Department of Botany. NSS Coordinator V. Swapna, Council Members G. Swapna and G. Rajini, along with other faculty members and students, actively participated in the program and made it a success.
