KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 03, 2026: The National Academy of Construction (NAC) in Telangana provides free, placement-linked, and specialised construction training for unemployed youth, workers and engineers.
The programme is often conducted by the Telangana and Central governments through Employment Generation and Marketing Mission and NGOs like Varadhi trust on skill development, covering trades, supervisory roles and advanced technology.
Ironically, a voluntary organisation, “Dr BN Rao Foundation has been claiming that they were organising the training programme for the unemployed youth when the government was taking up the programmes frequently. When the government is taking up the programme regularly, what is the role of NGO and why claim it as theirs, the sources questioned?
Incidentally, the so-called NGO had issued advertisements in the local newspapers claiming that they were conducting the free camp. “If the NGO is truly sincere about its service to society, it would not issue any advertisements in the media, and it would take up its service to society without any media hype”, the sources said.
The NGO had been claiming to conduct free camps at NAC Nukapalli in Jagtial and Shankarpatnam in Karimnagar district.
