KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 28, 2026: Students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Nagunuru, Karimnagar, brought laurels to the institution by winning medals and participating in various events at the CM Cup State Level Meet held in Hyderabad.
In wrestling, Navya (BZC III Year) secured Second Place and won a Silver Medal with a cash prize of ₹15,000 in the Under 59 kg category. Maithili Varshini (MPCS II Year) secured Third Place, winning a Bronze Medal and cash prize of ₹10,000 in the Under 50 kg category. Ch. Prasanna (B.A I Year) also secured Second Place, winning a Silver Medal and cash prize of ₹15,000 in the Under 53 kg category.
Lasavi and Nandini (B.A II Year) represented the college in hockey, while Lasavi, Nandini, and Roshini (MPCS) participated in weightlifting and received participation certificates.
Principal T. Malathi, Vice Principal S. Padmaja, Physical Director Parweena Begum, and all the faculty members congratulated the students. She appreciated their dedication and outstanding achievement in bringing pride to the institution.
