ANAMKONDA, FEBRUARY 20, 2026: The second day of the International Conference on medical science and research was conducted successfully on Friday. The programme was inaugurated by the College Professor and Principal, G Srinivas, along with Vice Principal K. Rajanilatha and Rajasekhar.
The event was organised by the Head of the Department of Zoology, Dinesh, Convenor P. Rohini, and Coordinators P. Gouri, V. Rajayya, and U. Swami.
Mr Samba Reddy from Texas University, USA, delivered an online lecture on the topic “Drug Discovery.” Professor Uma from Jawaharlal Technological University delivered a talk on the importance of millets in health care. K. Rajender Rao from the National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad, explained the impact of calories on health and their effects on genes.
Later, Professor G. Samitha from Kakatiya University elaborated in detail on the use of animals in biomedical research.
As part of the International Conference, research scholars from various universities and colleges presented their research papers. The conference was conducted from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
