KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 09, 2026: Students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Nagunuru, Karimnagar town, celebrated the Sankranthi festivities (the harvest festival) titled ‘Sankranthi Sambaraalu-2026’ on the college premises in a grand way on Friday, ahead of Sankranthi holidays.
The College campus was colourfully decorated with the Rangolies designed by the students. The students showcased their creativity through colourful designs highlighting agriculture, culture, social themes and innovation.
The students also participated in Mehendi and Braid competitions. Faculty members encouraged the students and appreciated their artistic talents. The celebrations concluded on a joyful note, reflecting cultural pride and unity. Principal T Malathi, Vice Principal S Padmaja and other faculty members were also present.
