KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 03, 2026: Retired Government Degree College Principal Burra Madhusudan Reddy said that reducing weaknesses and strengthening strengths is the essence of personality development. He was speaking as the chief guest at the National Women Teachers’ Day celebrations held on the occasion of Savitribai Phule Jayanti celebrations at the Telangana Government Social Welfare Residential Degree College for women in Nagunur of Karimnagar on Saturday.
He stressed that higher education is the strongest tool for women’s empowerment and gender equality in the modern digital era. The programme was presided over by Principal Malathi, while Vice Principal S. Padmaja was also present. Guest of honour Lion Inugurthi Ramesh urged students to serve society through voluntary organisations.
On the occasion, books were donated to the college library and women faculty members were felicitated. The programme concluded with a devotional song by the chief guest.
