KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 23, 2025: On the occasion of National Physicians Day, senior physician Dr D Raghu Raman distributed pamphlets to the people on the increasing prevalence of non-communicable diseases such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, cancer and obesity occurring at a young age at his clinic in Boyawada locality in Karimnagar town on Tuesday.
The programme emphasised the necessary lifestyle modifications to prevent these diseases, especially healthy dietary habits, adequate physical activity, and avoiding unnecessary mental stress. A message was conveyed that good health can be achieved through good habits.
Through this programme, around 120 people were provided with this information. During the event, representatives from the Karimnagar Milk Producer Company educated participants about the benefits of their healthy milk and dairy products. The dairy also served hot milk to the visitors.
