HYDERABAD, DECEMBER 19, 2025: The Telangana state government has appointed the Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies as the Official Person-in-Charge of the Telangana State Cooperative Apex Bank and the respective district Collectors as the official person-in-charges of nine DCCBs in Telangana state on Friday.
The appointments were made with immediate effect for a period of six months or till the elections are conducted, or until further notice of the government, whichever is earlier.
It may be recalled that the Telangana government has extended the term of the DCCBs and PACS chairpersons for six months on February 14, 2025. Later, the government had extended the term of DCCB chairpersons for another six months. But, the sudden decision of appointing person-in-charges had shocked all DCCBs in the Telangana state.
